4/175 Barn and Granary to north of foldyard approximately 50 m north-east of Pembridge Castle

Barn and Granary. Late C18. Sandstone rubble, C20 roof to barn, stone slates to granary. Six bay barn and adjoining five bay granary with cart shed form north enclosure of foldyard with stables (qv) to east and barn (qv) to south. Barn: central threshing floor with draught doors and lifts, three rows of loop vents, inclined strut trusses. Granary: two storeys, five bays with four square-headed windows partly retaining wooden mullions. Steps up to granary doorway to right of centre. Wide cart entry to west gable end.
