Description
This is a 17th-century house, altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of timber framing with painted brick infill and later brick facing, and has a tiled roof. The house has three bays aligned north/south, with the north gable facing the street. A later lean-to addition extends to the east. The house is single-story with an attic. It features a 2-light casement window in the gable, a canted bay window to the ground floor with a continuous pentice, a sash window in the lean-to, and a doorway with a ledged door and overlight in a covered passageway. This passageway connects to the Bell Inn to the right. The timber framing is square panelled and fairly complete, although it has been refaced with brick.
