Description

The Dean Monument, located about 10 yards south-west of the tower of the Church of St Bartholomew, is a chest tomb dedicated to John Dean, who died in 1839. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a deep plinth, hipped moulded capping, gadrooned corner balusters, and oval side and end panels.
