Description

The animal pen at Easthorpe House is a mid-19th century structure built of red brick with ashlar dressings. It features a conical slate roof, topped with a single central wooden glover that has a lead roof and a ball finial. The building has a circular plan and includes seven rectangular openings beneath the eaves, with dividing piers that have rounded corners and sills that feature moulded ashlar coping. On the west side, there is a doorway with ashlar hinge and lock blocks. Inside, the floor is sunken and has drainage openings.
