Description

This small tomb chest, located about 50 metres south of Bunny Hall, dates from around 1840. It is constructed of ashlar and slate and features a small square shape set onto a shallow plinth. The front and right sides have recessed panels. The top is moulded and includes shallow pediments at both the front and rear. The recessed panels hold single slate tablets that are adjacent to the tomb, with inscriptions that read "To the memory of a favourite dog..." and "To the memory of Ruby 1840 an attached and favourite spaniel."
