Description
This is an outbuilding located to the north of Bunny Hall, built around 1700. It was designed and constructed for Sir Thomas Parkyns. The building is made of red brick with some blue brick chequering and features ashlar dressings. It has a slate roof and chamfered ashlar quoins. The structure is set on a plinth with a chamfered ashlar band above, and there is an ashlar band at the first floor level. The outbuilding is two storeys high and has four bays. It includes a doorway with a plank door, a single ashlar mullion two-light casement to the left, and a single blocked opening with the remains of an ashlar lintel to the right. Further to the right is another similar casement, with four additional similar casements above. All the casements lack glazing bars. Sir Thomas Parkyns Bart. (circa 1662-1741) made significant improvements to Bunny Hall, rebuilding much of it according to his designs.
