Description
Kersall Lodge Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick, featuring pantile and 20th-century slab tile roofs. The building has cogged eaves, three gable stacks, and a single ridge stack. It is three storeys high and has three bays, designed in an L-plan.
The front facade includes glazing bar sash windows with segmental rubbed brick heads. The north front features a central 20th-century rustic porch made of timber and corrugated iron, which contains a panelled door with an overlight, flanked by single sash windows. Above this, there are three similar sash windows, and above those, three smaller sash windows.
At the rear, there is a 19th-century lean-to porch made of brick with a pantile roof. To the south, there is a round-headed doorway and a 20th-century lean-to porch with two 20th-century casement windows. Above this porch, there are three additional 20th-century casement windows.
