Description

The Pinfold is a village pinfold located on the north side of Copper Hill in Grassthorpe. It dates from the 19th century and was raised in 1897. The structure is built of brick and features triangular brick coping. It has a square plan with rounded corners on the southeast side. There are two square brick piers that have dressed stone caps. An inscribed stone commemorates the Diamond Jubilee of 1897.
