Description

The Broadwalk Restaurant, originally a house and later a shop, was built around 1800. It is constructed of brick, colourwashed with a stucco front, and has a roof that is not visible. A cornice and sill band run across each floor, topped by a small parapet, with a single side wall stack. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with pilastered surrounds on the front facade. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window range. The shallow canted front features a central blank panel flanked by single windows on each floor, with the second-floor windows being smaller. On the left side, a central door has an overlight, and an ogee shoe scraper. Above the door is a glazing bar sash window, and above that, a casement window.
