Description
This building, originally a house and now a shop, dates from the late 17th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick with a rendered front that features imitation timber framing and a pantile roof. The building has a single coped gable and two gable stacks. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range. On the front, to the left, there is a small Yorkshire sash window with glazing bars, and to its left, a reset stone gargoyle. To the right, there is a 20th-century two-light casement window. The mid-20th-century shopfront includes a central door flanked by single windows. On the left side, under an adjoining archway, there is a late 18th-century half-glazed fielded panelled door. The interior may contain timber framing.
