Description

No. 42 Westgate is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with changes made to its windows in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of brick and has a plain tile roof. It features a first-floor band, cogged eaves, a single coped gable, and a single gable stack. The windows are margin light sashes with rubbed brick heads. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window range. The front of the house has two windows, with the left one being unglazed. To the right, there is a late 19th-century half-glazed door, and a single sash window is located to the left.
