Description
The garden walls and potting sheds, located 100 meters northeast of Brackenhurst Hall, date from the late 19th century. They are constructed of brick and feature ramped stone coping. The structure has square corner piers and a rectangular plan measuring approximately 100 meters by 70 meters. The south side is characterized by a deeply scalloped top and includes a central wrought iron gate with an overthrow, flanked by square piers with moulded caps and ball finials. The east and west sides have similar openings but do not include gates. On the west side, there are two pairs of sheds with pantile roofs and dentilled eaves, each featuring a doorway and flanking lights in the form of a Diocletian window. Inside, the north wall contains a range of lean-to greenhouses and glazed fruit shelters.
