Description
The barn at Halloughton Manor Farm dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. It features dogtooth and raised brick eaves and stands two storeys high, plus a garret, with five bays. The barn has a large doorway with a double plank door. To the left of this entrance is a doorway with a stable door, and further left, there is a post box. Both the ground and first floors are equipped with ten slit ventilators each. At the top left of the barn, there is a board that reads, "Halloughton. All Bragants will be apprehended by order of The Justices of the Peace. J. Nicholson, Chief Constable." The left gable contains seven slit ventilators along with a small doorway with a plank door in the garret, while the right gable features ten slit ventilators.
