Description
The barn at Bridle Road Farm, dating from the late 18th century, is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. It has raised brick coped gables with kneelers and decorative dogtooth and raised brick eaves. The structure is set on a brick plinth, with some areas containing rubble. The barn is two storeys high and includes a projecting porch with a catslide roof, which has a doorway fitted with a double plank door. To the right of the porch, there is a single blocked opening, while above to the left is a small opening with a plank door. The ground floor has 13 blocked cross ventilators, and there are 12 cross ventilators above. On the far right side, there are four slit ventilators, and the left gable features a blocked arched doorway. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension.
