Description

Fleet Farm Cottage is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed of coursed blue lias rubble and brick, with some parts rendered. Timber framing is visible at the rear. The cottage has a steep, 20th-century pantile roof with coped gables and two ridge stacks. It is two storeys high with garrets, and originally had three bays. A 20th-century brick and pantile gabled porch is situated off-centre in a projecting central bay, flanked by single 20th-century windows with two panes of glazing bar, each with a segmental head. To the east is a further 20th-century window with two panes of glazing bar. Above, there are three 20th-century casements, each with two panes of glazing bar and timber lintels. The rear elevation features a 19th-century door and irregular 20th-century windows.
