Description

The Cottage is an 18th-century cottage featuring a 19th-century and 20th-century lean-to. It is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof, with dentillated eaves and coped gables that include kneelers. The building has a single gable stack on the north side and an external gable stack on the south side. It is two storeys high and consists of two bays. The entrance is off-centre, with a four-panelled door set within a timber porch, flanked by two Yorkshire sash windows with two lights and segmental heads. Above, there are two additional Yorkshire sash windows with two lights. The lean-to on the south side features a 20th-century half-glazed door and a 20th-century fixed light window.
