Description
Goldhill Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with a later 19th-century extension. It is constructed of red brick, with some ashlar stonework, and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two lateral red brick chimneys and a moulded ashlar cornice, along with an ashlar plinth.
The farmhouse is two and a half storeys tall and has three bays. The central doorway consists of a six-fielded panel door, topped with a fanlight and surrounded by an architrave with imposts and a keystone. On either side of the doorway are single Venetian windows. Above, there are two similar windows, along with a single central round arched window that matches the surround of the doorway. The top floor features two Diocletian windows and another central round arched window.
To the right, slightly set back, is the later 19th-century extension made of red brick with a hipped slate roof, which has a similar cornice and plinth, and one Venetian window on each floor. All openings are framed with ashlar surrounds, and all windows are glazing bar sashes.
