Description

This property comprises three houses, now a cafe, built around 1790. It has undergone alterations in the late 19th century and the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of brick, which has been rendered and colourwashed, and has a concrete pantile roof. A prominent ridge stack was added in the 19th century. The two storeys feature a five-window arrangement of 20th-century two-light casement windows. On the ground floor, to the left, is a fielded six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, flanked by a two-light casement and a pair of late 19th-century shop windows beneath a common cornice. To the right of this section is an altered fielded panelled door and another two-light casement. Further right, there is a fielded four-panel door flanked by single two-light casements. The right-hand gable has a sash window with glazing bars. This building possesses group value.
