Description

Smith's Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage constructed of red brick, featuring a pantile roof. It has a right gable and a single ridge with red brick stacks. The eaves are adorned with dentils. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of three bays. An off-centre doorway is fitted with a plank door, and on either side of the door are single glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. Above, there are two smaller sashes that are similar in style. The ground floor openings have rendered wedge lintels. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
