Description

This is an 18th-century sundial located 5 metres south of the south transept of the Church of St. Mary in Egmanton. It is made of ashlar and features a square base consisting of three steps. The sundial has a tapered round shaft that rests on the square base, topped with a moulded square section. The dial is likely to have been reset in the chancel.
