Description
Eakring Windmill is an early 19th-century windmill located on Wellow Road in Eakring. The structure is made of brick and is currently roofless. It features a round, battered tower with a stepped plinth and cogged eaves, divided into five stages. The unglazed window openings have segmental rubbed brick heads, and there is a doorway with a segmental head on the northwest side. Each stage of the windmill has a single window on the north and south sides. Inside, there is a central post, two floors, and a bed stone still in place.
