Description
Hall Farmhouse is a late 18th-century brick farmhouse with a slate roof. It has rebated and partly dentillated eaves, and single ridge and gable stacks. The original building was four bays wide, with a later L-shaped extension to the north. Most windows are glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The north side features a slightly projecting gabled wing. The main entrance is an off-centre panelled doorcase, now with a 20th-century door and overlight, and scrolled brackets to the hood. Flanking the door are a single sash window to the left and two sashes to the right. Above the entrance are four sashes, and above those, a single sash to the garret on the right. The east gable has a French window with a segmental head to the right, and a single sash to the garret above that. The south side has a 20th-century glazed door to the left, and two sashes to the right. The south gable has a single sash to the garret. The west end has two sashes, with two smaller sashes above.
