Description

The Windmill is an early 19th-century windmill located on the north side of Main Street in Blidworth. It is constructed of red brick, with some parts rendered and tarred. The building currently lacks a roof and features a low ashlar plinth. It has a circular plan and stands three storeys tall. The ground floor includes two doorways and two window openings, while the upper floors have four window openings on the second storey and two window openings on the top floor. Originally, all window openings were fitted with glazing bar casements.
