Description
The war memorial, located 10 metres south of the north gate at Mansfield Cemetery, was built around 1920 and designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield. It is made of Portland stone and features a tapered octagonal cross with a bronze sword on the front face. The memorial stands on an octagonal pedestal with an inscribed plinth and has an octagonal base consisting of two steps, with the upper step having a chamfered cornice. There is no list of those commemorated.
