Description
A group of four headstones from the 18th century is located 10 meters west of the tower at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. The headstones are made of ashlar. On the left is a moulded double stone featuring a scrolled head, a winged hourglass, and a winged serpent, dedicated to John and Mary Foster, dated 1725. Next to it is a scrolled headstone for Ann Mason, dated 1713. To the right is a moulded arch-headed stone for Richard Willee, dated 1724. Finally, on the far right is a panelled, arch-headed double stone for Elizabeth Herring, dated 1750, which includes a verse inscription.
