Description
Mill Bridge and the adjoining weir, built in 1767, are constructed from coursed and coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings. The bridge features a prominent central bay with a segmental arch, flanked by a single opening on the left and four unequally spaced round-headed openings on the right. The central balustrade is adorned with flat vase-shaped balusters. The curved and straight walls on either side of the bridge are supported by six square piers topped with concave domed caps, each approximately 25 meters long. The weir, located to the south, has a 20th-century concrete coping.
