Description
This is a cartshed with a hayloft above, built around 1770 and later altered in the late 20th century. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a hipped concrete tile roof. The building has two storeys and a six-window range, although the openings are now blocked. Below, there are six segment-arched cart openings, with the fourth and fifth covered by close boarded double doors, and the right opening blocked. The open arches have steel posts that replace the original piers. At the left end, there is a late 20th-century double flight external stair leading to a doorway with a plank door. This structure is included for its group value with other nearby buildings.
