Description
33 Ratcliffe Gate is a house that has been converted into a shop and workshop. It dates from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th and late 20th centuries. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone and stucco, topped with a steeply pitched concrete tile roof. It has two storeys and features a two-window range of three-light glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. The windows have stone surrounds; the narrower right window has a chamfered and rebated surround, while the other is flush. There is an off-centre boarded door with an overlight, and to the right, there is a late 19th-century shop window supported by shaped wooden brackets for the fascia. To the left, there is a three-light boarded window with a flush stone surround.
