Farmhouse and adjoining barn. Late C15, mid C18 and early C19, with C19 and C20 alterations. Cruck frame, coursed rubble and ashlar with ashlar dressings and slate and corrugated asbestos roofs. 2 gable stacks, one brick, one stone. Farmhouse, to left, refronted mid C18. 2 storeys; 2-window range of C20 two-light plastic-framed casements. Central C20 door with heavy stone surround, flanked to left by a 2-light casement with stone flush mullions, and to right by a smaller 2-light casement with stone lintel. Right gable has an exposed pair of crucks with span beam, pegged ridge and collar, set on a late C18 brick plinth. Wattle and daub infill. INTERIOR: contains 2 similar pairs of crucks, dated by dendrochronology to C15. Barn, to right, has an off-centre plank loft door. Below, to left, a wide stable door with wooden frame, flanked to right by a smaller board door. Roof structure renewed late C19.
