Description
Pleasley Bridge is a road bridge that spans the River Meden, built around 1800, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The bridge is constructed from coursed squared stone and coursed rubble, featuring ashlar dressings. On the south side, it has two round arches with keystones and a smaller round arch to the east. There is an impost band and a parapet wall with rubble coping. The north side has two plain round arches and a smaller round arch to the west. The parapet wall on this side has slab coping and end piers topped with concave-sided square domed caps.
