Description

The property comprises a farmhouse and associated farm buildings. The rear range of the farmhouse dates to around 1700, while the front range was constructed in the 18th century. The buildings are primarily brick-built, with pantile roofs, gables, and hipped sections. The front range exhibits first and second floor bands, dentillated eaves, and two gable and one rear wall stack. It is three storeys high and five bays wide. The front facade features a central 20th-century pilastered doorcase with a pediment and panelled door, flanked by two glazing bar sashes. Above are five glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The second floor has five smaller glazing bar sashes. The left gable has a French window, with glazing bar sashes above on each floor. The right gable features a single glazing bar sash on each floor. The rear range includes a single-bay service wing at each end, with a small casement on the left and a door with a glazing bar overlight and sash on the right. The rear elevation showcases a central doorway with a segmental head, flanked by tall plain sashes; above, a round-headed sash is flanked by single sashes, all with glazing bars; and above that, a round-headed light is flanked by single Yorkshire sashes.

Inside the farmhouse, a dog-leg staircase has turned balusters of two shapes and a ramped handrail. The kitchen features an ashlar fireplace with an elliptical arch, beaded edges, and a projecting keystone. A range of mid-18th century farm buildings are constructed of coursed squared rubble with gabled and hipped pantile roofs. These buildings feature a 20th-century garage door, three doorways, two small windows, a glazing bar fixed light, and two hatches above.
