Description

No. 25 Grove Street is a late 18th century red brick house that stands three stories tall and features five windows. The windows are hung sash style with glazing bars, and the building has plain stucco keystones and cills. It has a moulded stucco eaves cornice and an old slate roof. The entrance boasts a well-crafted doorcase in moulded stucco, complete with an open pediment and a round-headed arch that includes a keystone and fanlight. The door itself consists of six panels and is flanked by panelled pilasters. The property is complemented by rusticated gateposts topped with ball finials, although there are no railings. No. 25 forms a group with No. 27.
