Description
Nos. 19 and 19A on Potter Street is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with a pantile roof, featuring stucco hoods and architraves, and has a stone ridge with two gable stacks. The building has three storeys and three bays, arranged in an L-plan. The central entrance has a moulded doorcase supported by consoles that hold a leaded hood. To the left of the entrance is a single blocked opening, while to the right is a 19th-century shop window with a hood on consoles. Above the entrance, there are three plain sash windows, and above those, three smaller glazing bar sashes. At the rear, there is a small gabled wing made of coursed squared rubble with a pantile roof. This building is included for its group value only.
