Description
Nos. 83 and 85 on Bridge Street are houses that have been converted into shops. They date from the late 18th century and 19th century and feature a continuous roof. The buildings are constructed of brick with a rendered finish, topped by a 20th-century pantile roof and ashlar dressings. The facade has a first-floor band, cogged eaves, a single gable, and a single off-centre ridge stack. The structure is two storeys high with five bays. It includes two 20th-century shop fronts, and above the shop fronts, there are three plain sash windows with keystones on the left side and two 20th-century casement windows on the right. These buildings are included in the listing for their group value only.
