Description

Nos. 98 and 100 Bridge Street are a late 18th-century house, with additions made in the early 19th century. Originally a house, it is now used as shops. The building is constructed of brick, which has been rendered, and has flat and pantiled roofs. Architectural details include ashlar dressings, a moulded band at the first floor level, a rendered band at the second floor level, a coped parapet, and a single rear wall stack. There are also rear brick additions with pantile roofs and a single gable stack. The building is three and two storeys high, with a seven-bay facade. The facade is irregular, featuring two 20th-century shop fronts. Above these, there are seven plain sashes, and above that again, to the left, four similar sashes.
