Description

The Sunday School, formerly a Methodist chapel, was built in 1838. It is constructed of brick with a pantiled roof, featuring stone coped gables with kneelers and brick eaves. The building is single storey and has two bays. The central entrance consists of a close boarded door with timber jambs, flanked by plain sash windows with stone sills. Above the door is a datestone inscribed 'Primitive Methodist Chapel 1838'. The southeast corner is canted and corbelled. Each front gable has a single plain sash window. There is a lean-to brick extension at the rear.
