Description

The pigeoncote at Gringley Vicarage is an early 19th-century structure made of brick, topped with a 20th-century pantiled roof. It features first floor and eaves bands, cogged eaves, and tumbled coped gables that include pigeonholes. The building is two storeys high, with a single bay and a square plan. The wide central doorway is modified and has a timber lintel, flanked by single unglazed openings that have segmental heads. Above this, there is a blocked central doorway also with a segmental head. Finally, there are two tiers of blocked pigeonholes above.
