Description
The pigeoncote at Skegby Manor is a mid-18th century structure built of red brick, set on a coursed rubble plinth. It features a pantile roof with raised and coped gables and kneelers, as well as a dentil and raised eaves band. The building has two and a half storeys plus an attic, with a band at the first floor level. On the south side, there is a central doorway with a wooden door, and above it, a wooden panel with a fixed light. The right gable includes several pigeon openings and perches in the attic, while the left gable has a single window opening on each floor and a few perches in the attic. A brick and pantile lean-to projects from the front of the building.
