Description
Skegby Manor is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick set on a coursed rubble plinth and features a pantile roof with two red brick gable stacks. The gables are raised and coped, and the eaves have a dentil detail. The building is two and a half storeys high and has three bays, with bands at the first and second floors. The central doorway has a panelled door and a traceried overlight, flanked by single 20th-century glazing bar casements in their original openings. Above the doorway, there are three glazing bar sashes, with three smaller glazing bar sashes positioned above them. All openings are adorned with painted keystones.
To the left of the main structure is a lower, single bay, two-storey wing made of red brick and pantile, which has a left gable stack, dentil eaves, and a first-floor band, along with a single 20th-century glazing bar casement. Further left, there is a coped wall that extends to the rear, leading to a lean-to. The rear of the property features various two and two and a half storey extensions. Inside, there is a dogleg staircase with turned balusters.
