Description
The Club House and attached cottage, located 10 metres north of the Headmaster's House, was built around 1860 and has some 20th-century extensions. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a shaped tiled roof with a decorative copper ridge. The building has multiple stacks and coped gables with kneelers, as well as some mannerist style orb finials. There is a moulded eaves band and the structure is set on a plinth.
The south front of the building is two storeys high and consists of five bays. The central and outer single bays project and are gabled. The central bay has a single four-light casement window, while on either side, there are three-bay arcades with keystones and a decorative ashlar parapet. The inner doorways have double wooden doors flanked by single casements, although the left side is partially blocked. Further to the right, there is another four-light casement.
On the left side, there is a two-storey 20th-century extension, which features a central three-light casement above, flanked by single gabled half dormers, each containing a single glazing bar casement. To the right of the extension, there is a single three-light casement. At the apex of the centre gable, there is a decorative plaque, and in the right gable, there is a narrow fixed light.
