Description

High House Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house situated on a plinth. It is rendered with a slate roof and features two rendered ridge stacks topped with a wide modillion cornice. The house has a projecting gabled bay on the left with a modillion pediment in the gable. The main two-storey, three-bay front has three glazing bar sashes on the ground floor, with three matching sashes above. The east front features a similar pedimented gable and has two bays with two glazing bar sashes above a part-glazed double door with a traceried fanlight. The doorway is flanked by single pilasters supporting a moulded arch. A single canted window bay with sashes is to the left of the doorway. There are lower two-storey and single-storey wings to the rear.
