Description
Hickman Hill is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is two storeys tall and constructed of white painted brick, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof. The front elevation features five windows with hung sashes and glazing bars, each adorned with cambered relieving arches, with the central window being lengthened. A central stone porch is supported by fluted Doric columns and pilasters, featuring an entablature with triglyphs, guttae, and a modillion cornice. The door is set in a panelled reveal with an architrave surround. On the secondary north elevation, there is a doorway with a hood and ribbed pilasters capped by paterae, leading to a modern door. Hickman Hill, along with the Iron Gates and Gatepiers to the north-west, forms a group.
