Description

The lodge to Summer Hill House, dated 1832, is a single-storey building constructed of yellow brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring carved bargeboards and wooden finials. Its cruciform shape includes one arched window on each side, each with two lights and glazing bars. The entrance features an arched wooden door beneath a flat hood and stone spandrels, displaying the date and an armorial crest. The lodge has centrally grouped chimney stacks and an attached wall at the rear. The lodge and Summer Hill House together form a group.
