Description

The lake abutment and weir, located at Hackthorn Hall Drive, date from the late 18th century and have been modified in the 19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar coping. The structure features a low semi-circular wall at the end of the lake, which shields a smaller semi-circular weir. An archway is present through which the water flows out.
