Description

Wingates is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of painted coursed rubble with a pantile roof that features two gable stacks and a single ridge stack. The building is single storey with an attic and has a front that consists of four irregular bays. To the right, there is a doorway with a 20th-century glass door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century wooden gabled hood supported by ornate timber brackets. The doorway is flanked by sliding sash windows, with an additional sliding sash window located further to the left. Above, there are three raking dormers, each fitted with sliding sashes.
