Description
Corner House is an early 19th-century house constructed of stock brick and coursed ironstone rubble. It features hipped pantile roofs with decorative eaves, along with two stacks on the hips and a gable stack at the rear. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two stories tall with a three-bay brick front facing south. The central doorway is framed by a reeded doorcase and a traceried fanlight, leading to a six-panelled door. On either side of the doorway are single sliding sash windows with splayed plaster lintels, and there are three similar windows above. The east front is made of ironstone rubble, accented with stock brick quoins and lintels, and includes three glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads, along with three similar windows on the upper floor.
