6/67 Barn at Walesby Farmhouse

Barn. Early 019. Coursed ironstone rubble with red brick dressings. Pantile roof with brick coped gables decorated brick eaves, and central ridge stack. 2 storey. North front has largeround headed brick dressed doorway flanked by mounting blocks. To the left is single, brick dressed opening with segmental head, with 2 similar openings to the right, all with painted wooden shutters. West side has 14 brick, stone dressed steps with small round headed opening with plank door at base. Stepslead up to round headed, brick dressed doorway with plank door. Crowstep gable has had the crowsteps filled in with red brick. To the south, a long low contemporary lean-to. Included for group value only.
