Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory built in 1869, constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and ironstone ashlar. It features slate roofs with stone coped gables, two stone gable stacks, and a single stone ridge stack. The building is two stories high with a three-bay front and a plinth. The central doorway is set back and includes a fanlight and a partially glazed door, which is flanked by long narrow fixed lights. There is a recessed bay that contains a doorway covered by a conservatory. The conservatory is flanked by large rectangular bay windows, each featuring two French windows with glazing bars. Above the door, there are two narrow plain sash windows, and a gable above contains a roundel inscribed with "1869." The central windows are flanked by single splayed bay windows, each with three narrow casements topped by conical roofs.
