Description

A row of four cottages, now comprising three, was built around 1830. The cottages are constructed of ironstone rubble with some red brick, and have a pantile roof with four ridge stacks. Number 6, on the right-hand side, has a two-storey, two-bay front. It features a plank door and a sliding sash window to the right, with a matching window above. Number 8, to the left, also has a two-storey, two-bay front with a plank door on the left and a sliding sash window to the right, paired with a window above. Number 10 has a two-storey, four-bay front with a panelled door to the right, flanked by sliding sash windows, and two matching windows above. A further unused six-panel door is located to the left. All window and door openings have brick segmental arches. The cottages are included on the list solely for their group value.
