Description

The gatepiers to Elswitha Hall, dating from the 18th century, are located on the east side of Caskgate Street. They feature original panelled stone construction with obelisk finials positioned above a blocking course that has moulded cornices. These gatepiers are listed for their group value with Elswitha Hall, forming an architectural ensemble.
